Service Termination/Cancellation Policy

Rate plan terminations are subject to the following guidelines.

Monthly Rate Plans:  Monthly invoiced rate plans may be terminated upon request of the account holder at any time during a billing cycle.  Intouch Internet Services, Inc. does not pro-rate billing and as such, the account may be left active until the end of the billing cycle in which the properly requested termination was received by Intouch Internet Services, Inc.

Annual Rate Plans:  Annually invoiced rate plans may be terminated upon request of the account holder at any time during a billing cycle (year).  Intouch Internet Services, Inc. does not pro-rate billing and refunds for prepaid annual services are not provided as it is agreed that by receiving substantially discounted rates the member is agreeing to maintain those services for the period of the prepaid billing cycle (year).  Properly submitted requests for termination will allow for the services to remain active and useable by the member until the end of the prepaid billing cycle.

Any existing customers who are currently in a billing cycle prior to April 1, 2007 at an Annual Rate Plan are hereby allowed until Noon (EST) on April 30th, 2007 in which to terminate their service and receive a prorated refund for the prepaid services they wish to terminate.  After that date, no refunds will be provided for any termination of Annual Rate Plan services.

 

Payment Authorization

You agree to authorize Intouch Internet Services, Inc. to process any payments made by you whether in paper form or electronically using any means we so choose.  This includes our ability to convert your paper check into an electonic transaction.  It also agreed that shall your account become delinquent in its billing status and/or you fail to make final payment upon termination of your account, Intouch Internet Services, Inc. may, at our sole discretion, attempt to obtain payment by electronic means using any credit card, debit card, or checking account that you have previously used for making payment to us in the past.

 

Approved Account Cancellation Procedures

Effective January 5, 2009 the following methods may be used when requesting the termination/cancellation of the services you receive from Intouch Internet Services, Inc.:

Reply to Billing Notification Emails:  The Authorized Contact for the account will, from time to time, receive communications from our Company via email.  These communications include monthly Billing Statements.  The Authorized Contact may choose to REPLY to one of these Billing Notification emails with their request to terminate/cancel services.  Such requests will now be accepted by Intouch Internet Services, Inc. as long as they originate from the email account that initially received the notice directly from our Company.

Paper Mail Requests:  The Authorized Contact for the account may choose to Print out a copy of the most recent Billing Notification email they have received from us and then hand write a request for account termination/cancellation upon that Billing Notification.  The written request must also be SIGNED by the Authorized Contact associated to the account.  This type of request must be mailed or hand delivered to our office (at the address below).

Verbal Requests:  The Authorized Contact for the account may choose to request account termination/cancellation verbally either by Telephone conversation or in person at our office (at the address below).  This type of request will require the Authorized Contact to provide our staff with the Account Level Password associated with the service account in order for the request to be processed.

Non-Payment Cancellations:  Customers that receive their Billing Notifications by Email or US Mail (Paper Statements) can now choose to terminate/cancel their service from our Company simply by choosing to not pay for upcoming services.  This option will be deemed void and not available in any instance where a User has requested and received an extension of services beyond a service period start date and THEN chosen not to pay for those services.  IMPORTANT:  THIS OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMERS WHO ARE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD "AUTO-PAY" PROGRAM.  Those customers MUST choose one of the other termination/cancellation options PRIOR to the start date of the service period which they do not wish to have our services any longer.
